About Us
The Full Story
We are a family run business walking and caring for the dogs of Exeter and the surrounding areas. I am Kim and together with my gorgeous fiancé Lucy we own “Walkies with Kim”. I am an Animal Science Graduate with many years of canine and animal behaviour experience.
Since our incorporation in August 2019 we have grown as a business, and are able to offer care to and accommodate a large range of dogs with different behavioural needs.
We specialise in working with dogs with particular anxieties and phobias with the aim to slowly gain the dog’s trust and boost their confidence in day to day life.

Group dog walks
This is one of our most popular services available. Group dog walks can reinforce social bonds among dogs, encourage natural pack behaviour, and help establish a structured hierarchy. They promote physical activity, mental stimulation, and can improve overall behaviour as we always strive to sure we provide a structured and supervised environment for your dogs to interact, you can trust that you’re dogs are always in great hands.
Pet sitting
Frequently utilised by most of our customers, pet sitting has been essential to our success on many occasions. Pet sitting in the pet's home provides familiarity and comfort for the pet, reducing stress. It maintains their routine, diet, and environment and providing an personalised level of attention and care.
When it comes to all of our services, you can count on us to take care of your pets every need. We pride ourselves on our exceptional animal husbandry, animal behaviour and animal care skills, and guarantee your pets will love being looked after by us.
With my former veterinary nurse assistant background I am able to provide your pet with any medication needed from daily oral medication to daily subcutaneous insulin injections for any diabetic pets out there.
Pet taxi
Need to take your pets to the vet? Has your dog got a grooming appointment?
We provide a pet taxi service taking both you and your pet to and from the appointment waiting with you during the consultation and returning you home. We guarantee all of our customers will experience the impressive level of professionalism when booking a taxi with Walkies with Kim.

1 to 1 dog training sessions
One-to-one dog training sessions provide personalised attention, allowing trainers to address specific behavioural issues. This focused approach helps customise training plans to suit the dog's individual needs, enhancing the learning experience. It also strengthens the bond between the dog and owner while offering a controlled environment for effective training.
